RoastPOS is an open-source project made available under the MIT License. These terms apply to the RoastPOS marketing website, project communications, and any donation links published on this site.
Open-source software terms
The RoastPOS source code is licensed separately under the MIT License in the project repository. Your use, modification, distribution, and self-hosting of the software are governed by that licence.
This website does not change, override, or expand the rights granted by the MIT License.
No hosted service commitment
RoastPOS is presented as a self-hosted project. Unless explicitly stated in a separate written agreement, no hosted RoastPOS SaaS offering, uptime commitment, managed support contract, or commercial warranty is provided through this site.
Donations and payments
This site includes donation links such as the “Buy Me A Naughty Bean Coffee” button. Donations are voluntary and do not create a support contract, service-level agreement, or ownership claim over the project.
Payments may be processed by a third-party payment provider. Any payment provider terms, fees, disputes, refunds, or transaction handling are governed by that provider’s terms in addition to these terms.
No warranty
The RoastPOS project and this website are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent allowed by law, no express or implied warranties are provided, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Naughty Bean Consulting, project contributors, and maintainers are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from use of the website, project materials, donations, or the RoastPOS software.
Third-party services
RoastPOS integrates with no third-party services by default. When you self-host RoastPOS, you are responsible for the security, compliance, and data handling of your own deployment.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the site after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Material changes will be noted in the project repository.
