This privacy policy explains how the RoastPOS marketing site handles information. The site is intended to provide product information and let coffee shop operators contact Naughty Bean Consulting (Pty) Ltd about RoastPOS.
Website data
This site may collect limited technical data that is normally available to web infrastructure, such as IP address, browser details, request timing, and standard server logs. This data is used for basic site operation, security, and debugging. It is not sold to third parties.
Contact and correspondence
If you contact us by email at hello@naughtybean.consulting, we may retain your message and contact details for the purpose of responding to your inquiry, preparing a quote, discussing implementation needs, or maintaining customer communications.
Payments and service providers
If you enter into a paid arrangement with Naughty Bean Consulting (Pty) Ltd, payments or related operational services may be handled by third-party providers. We do not control those providers’ data handling practices. You should review the relevant provider policies before submitting payment information.
RoastPOS deployments
RoastPOS is deployed in the customer’s own environment unless a separate written agreement says otherwise. The customer has full access to, control over, and responsibility for the data stored in that environment.
Naughty Bean Consulting (Pty) Ltd does not store, host, access, or process operational RoastPOS data by default. This includes, without limitation, customer records, customer orders, sales records, menu items, stock data, supplier data, team member data, reports, configuration, and any other business data entered into the customer’s RoastPOS environment.
The customer is responsible for operating, securing, backing up, and managing access to their RoastPOS environment unless a separate written service-level agreement or support agreement says otherwise.
SLA and support access
If the customer enters into a separate SLA, support, hosting, maintenance, or managed services agreement with Naughty Bean Consulting (Pty) Ltd, the customer may grant Naughty Bean Consulting (Pty) Ltd access to the customer’s environment for the limited purpose of performing those agreed services.
Any such access will be governed by the applicable written agreement. Naughty Bean Consulting (Pty) Ltd will only access or process customer environment data to the extent required to perform the agreed services, such as support, troubleshooting, maintenance, backups, hosting, monitoring, upgrades, or incident response.
Operators of RoastPOS installations are responsible for their own privacy compliance, including applicable data protection regulations in their jurisdiction, unless responsibilities are expressly allocated differently in a separate written agreement.
Analytics
This site does not currently use third-party analytics tracking. If analytics are added in future, this policy will be updated and any tracking will be disclosed.
Cookies
This site does not set any tracking cookies. Basic session cookies may be set by the hosting infrastructure for operational purposes.
Your rights
